The Somos Awards honor notable Latinos who have distinguished themselves in various fields and made a positive impact in our area.  The Somos Awards are considered the highest honor by Hispanics to Hispanics in the Metropolitan DC area.  Top Latino leaders in various categories will be honored before an influential audience of more than 500 community leaders.  During the ceremony, the hottest Latino performers pay tribute to the Honorees.  This program will be aired as a TV special through the local public TV channels.
